There's some new sugar dealers in Shelton and their names are Phillip Jackson and Kayla Cooper. The two recently opened the Shelton Candy Shoppe at 403 W. Railroad in downtown Shelton. They opened on June 2, 2022, just in time for the large Forest Festival crowds for the parade and other activities. The plan was to open in July but after a few week of hard work and conversation they knew they had to open for one of the busiest weekends of the year.


The Candy Shoppe boasts a wide variety of sweet treats from traditional candies that you would find in any store to more unique candies from around the world and from local confectioners. They've got all types of flavored popcorn, fudge and truffle desserts and some freeze dried candy including Sugar Cookies, Gummies and Skittles. The Shelton Candy Shoppe is on facebook and a website is coming.
