Perched on Hood Canal’s west shore with a line of shops tracing its main street through town. The gateway town to the Staircase entrance of the Olympic National Park, here you will find restaurants, groceries, fuel and tourist information as well aas two wineries, a brewery, and an award winning distillery.

The area is particularly famous to SCUBA divers. Lake Cushman and Kokanee Lake as well as a myriad of hikes and waterfalls.
