A small town surrounded by big adventure, Brinnon is rich in history and natural wonders. Famous is the popular 229’ Rocky Brook Falls, accessible by just a short walk from the road. Stroll the Duckabush for a chance sighting of the resident herd of Roosevelt Elk.
The town hosts shops, gas station, a couple restaurants including the famous Geoduck Restaurant & Lounge as well as Whitney Gardens, seven acres of rhodies and magnificent rare trees in te shadow of the Olympics.
For information, unique tours and the inside “track,” visit Hood Canal Adventure’s Base Camp. The Base Camp also offers passes and kayak rentals.
Dosewallips State Park consists of more than 1000 acres of prime wildlife habitat along the Dosewallips River at its delta on Hood Canal. Well-known for its campground and excellent fishing and shell fishing opportunities, the park also contains nearly five miles of hiking trails.
