Embracing the flavors of Northwest waters.

Nestled along the shores of beautiful Hood Canal in Hoodsport, Washington, the Fjord Oyster Bank offers a uniquely Pacific Northwest dining experience where fresh local seafood, stunning waterfront views, and small-town hospitality come together. Housed in a former bank building overlooking the Hoodsport Fish Hatchery, the restaurant celebrates the bounty of the region with oysters, clams, geoduck, and seasonal seafood sourced from Hood Canal and South Puget Sound.

Inspired by the culinary vision of renowned Northwest chef Xinh Dwelley, the menu blends fresh local ingredients with bold, memorable flavors. Whether you're stopping in for a dozen oysters on the half shell, gathering with friends for a special dinner, or browsing local gifts and books in the historic bank vault, the Fjord Oyster Bank is a destination that captures the spirit, flavor, and charm of Hood Canal.

  • Great food and even better conversations.

Since the 1970s a bank has graced this plot of land overlooking Hood Canal & the Hoodsport Fish Hatchery. In 2022, along with the loving guidance of chef Xinh Dwelley, it transformed into a celebrated gathering place for great fresh meals and wonderful conversations.

  • Paying homage to a legacy, chef Xinh Dwelley

When it comes to preparing local Northwest seafood , Xinh Dwelley is the undisputed legend in creating a fusion of flavors that are remarkable.

King 5 Evening Magazine feature on the Oyster Bank & Xinh (2023).

  • A vault full of reasons to stop in.

When we saw that door and all the safety deposit boxes we knew it wasn’t going anywhere. Instead we filled it with local treasures from local books and gifts to oyster souvenirs — yes there is such a thing!

The items in the Vault have been carefully curated to reflect our Northwest products – although there is a little preference to Smokey and Woodsy Owl.
