Counting On Chum

The summer chum count on the Union River ends the middle of October. Salmon Center Executive Director Mendy Harlow and Salmon & Steelhead Biologist Clayton David show Jeff Slakey how the volunteers work 24 hours a day for two months to count all the fish that come through the trap. The final number counted for 2022 season was 5363.
